2022 Annual Report

2022 Annual Report

The 1816 Farmington Quaker Meetinghouse enjoyed a productive and exciting year in 2022, marked by significant progress in preservation, education, and community engagement. A major restoration grant from the Historic Preservation Fund advanced plans to repair and preserve the historic meetinghouse, while new electrical service, a redesigned entrance sign, and enhancements to the nature trail improved the visitor experience. Educational programming focused on the theme of “Equal Rights for All,” bringing together community partners, historians, and presenters to explore topics including abolition, women’s rights, Haudenosaunee history, and restorative justice. The organization also expanded its outreach through social media, welcomed important additions to its collections, and celebrated the dedication of its volunteers, donors, and community partners. Strong financial support from individuals, foundations, and local organizations helped sustain operations while funding ongoing restoration and preservation efforts.
