The 1816 Farmington Quaker Meetinghouse Museum’s 2024–2025 Annual Report highlights its mission to preserve and interpret the Meetinghouse as a national site of conscience, emphasizing equal rights, social justice, and peace for Native Americans, African Americans, and women. Restoration efforts progressed with a revised site plan and new parking lot, funded by a National Park Service grant, New York State’s Environmental Protection Fund, and private donations, with upcoming plans to restore the Meetinghouse exterior. A robust slate of public programs explored themes of equality, including educational talks, an archaeological dig, curriculum development on the Underground Railroad, and collaborations with organizations such as the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives and the Women’s Rights National Historical Park. The Meetinghouse also expanded its online presence through social media and video recordings of events. Financially, the organization reported $30,352 in revenue and $26,145 in operating expenses, with $903,215 remaining for restoration, including $421,622 from a federal grant and $481,592 from a state grant. Endowments totaling $75,000 were established with the Rochester Area Community Foundation and Bullis Fund. The report concludes with heartfelt thanks to donors and supporters, whose contributions continue to drive preservation and educational outreach efforts.
